With the support of NTPC's CSR initiatives, Mai Hoon Dhanbad has delivered meaningful improvements in sanitation, healthcare, education, and accessibility across Dhanbad. Together, we built a public toilet in Panchet, installed two water purifiers at DVC High School to provide safe drinking water, conducted health camps benefiting 250+ children and 100 women, and distributed wheelchairs and walking aids to restore mobility and independence. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to building healthier, more inclusive, and empowered communities.
Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)
In collaboration with BCCL's CSR initiatives, Mai Hoon Dhanbad is advancing women’s empowerment and promoting gender equality through impactful community programs. Together, we organize women empowerment initiatives, celebrate International Women’s Day, and conduct awareness campaigns on gender equality and women's rights, fostering confidence, inclusion, and equal opportunities for women across the community.
Indian Railways - Dhanbad Division
In collaboration with the Dhanbad Rail Division of Indian Railways, Mai Hoon Dhanbad organized a railway safety and civic awareness campaign at Dhanbad Railway Station. The initiative trained 200–300 passengers in life-saving CPR and emergency response, equipping them to act during critical situations. The campaign also promoted civic responsibility by spreading awareness about rail safety, grievance reporting, responsible use of railway infrastructure, and safe practices on platforms and trains, contributing to a safer and more informed community.
Health Department, Government of Jharkhand
In partnership with the Health Department, Government of Jharkhand, Mai Hoon Dhanbad organized a public health campaign at DVC High School, Panchet to protect children and school staff from communicable diseases. The initiative provided filariasis prevention to over 200 beneficiaries while raising awareness about disease prevention, reinforcing our shared commitment to healthier communities.
Dhanbad District Administration
In collaboration with the Dhanbad District Administration, Mai Hoon Dhanbad has supported community mobilization initiatives focused on road safety, civic responsibility, and public participation. Through human chains, road safety awareness drives, civic engagement campaigns, and community outreach activities, we have encouraged citizens to become more aware, responsible, and actively involved in building a safer and more connected Dhanbad.
